Dr Bradley Wagemaker
(Medical Director Lamelle Research Laboratories)

Heading up Lamelle Research and Development is Dr. Bradley Wagemaker, a medical doctor registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa and a member of the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine, The International Society of Cosmetic Dermatology and The American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery.

Dr. Wagemaker is not only the Medical Director of Lamelle Research Laboratories, but also runs his own private aesthetic medicine practice and research facility based in Johannesburg, South Africa.  

He has extensive clinical research experience in the fields of postmenopausal gynaecology, endocrinology and critical care medicine and has held research positions with various multinational pharmaceutical companies before starting Lamelle Research Laboratories.

His academic interests include the fields of facial ageing pathophysiology, growth factors / fibroblasts in ageing skin, laser medicine and pigmentation.

Outside of his clinical obligations, Dr Wagemaker also over sees the Research & Development division of Lamelle in collaboration with multiple multinational biotechnology and device companies in order to continually bring evidence based innovation in cosmetic dermatology and surgery to the market. Dr Wagemaker lectures extensively and has presented papers at congresses while training medical and paramedical colleagues in techniques of aesthetic medicine.
